About me
Lynn is currently the Assistant Principal at Chana Education Center, with a lengthy background in Special Education, Instructional Design and Practice, and Curriculum. CEC houses two programs: a K-age 22 therapeutic public day program for students with significant special education needs, as well as a Regional Safe Schools Programs for 6th-12th students who have been frequently suspended, expelled, or are in transition from juvenile detention facilities. CEC began as a strict, behavioral program with a "command and demand" model. Over the course of the last several years, however, Lynn has been a part of a dramatic transformation as CEC is now entirely focused on a "Human-Informed" approach to understanding and working through challenging behavior.
